I love being part of a church that teaches about Jesus in word and action. The people genuinely care for one another just like a family.

The Refuge is a great place to feel connected to the community. The diversity of people reflects Oran Park and the surrounding area. The Refuge not only provides adults a place to study the Bible but offers an amazing children’s program.

After 17 years, finally I found The Refuge Community-Oran Park where my Christian faith will grow. Nothing is impossible with our Heavenly Father God.

Past experiences made me sceptical and cynical about a lot of churches and religions, but The Refuge has totally blown those thoughts away. It is a church of and for family and community, where the love is genuine, the teaching is truly Bible based, and it is my home.

The Refuge is where I come to be reminded of God’s love and grace and challenged to share that love and grace with those I meet in everyday life. It’s a gathering of people who desire to serve the community of Oran Park .

What captured me the most about The Refuge on our first day was the warm welcome and its still the same today – I just love being part of such a caring community of people.

I appreciate the genuine care and concern for others that The Refuge community demonstrates. People want to get to know you, do life with you, and are there for you in times of need. It’s the Christian family we’ve always prayed for.

The Refuge is warm hearted, welcoming and worthful. It feels like home, week after week and God meets us there.

It doesn’t matter who you are, where you’ve been or what you’ve done, The Refuge is a place where you are welcomed with open arms by a community that endeavours to show Christ’s love.

We appreciate not only that we can have a place of worship, but our Refuge community shows God’s love through serving others. Also it’s great to go on Sunday & learn more about The Almighty.

I have experienced genuine care & concern from the community & such encouragement from the teaching from God’s Word.

The Refuge is fast becoming my second family… a place I belong, a place for giving and receiving.

The Refuge has reminded me what it means to be part of a community which genuinely cares for each other.

The Refuge is a safe place to love and be loved. A place where the bible is taught and we are challenged in our daily lives. We love it.

I appreciate The Refuge for the involvement and inclusion of people of all ages. My kids have a place to belong and want to be a part of this family. It is not a church like most would have in mind, but a family network of people involved in caring and serving where and as we can and always loving a feast of food around us!.

We are thankful to be part of an amazing family, with a mission to serve!

It was a lovely service and we felt really welcomed by so many of your congregation. You can see the light & love of Jesus shining out of this ministry and we will continue to pray over you & your family and the congregation as this (no doubt) takes off for God’s glory.

I just understood it (the sermon) better from Dean, he made it so relevant to my everyday life

At The Refuge we are indeed blessed in having such a wonderful community it is indeed a real Church Family.

Since day one I have been made to feel like part of the family at The Refuge, both spiritually and socially. I love that feeling of God’s family.

It is with excitement that we’re visiting today to see what the Lord has been doing out here in Oran Park. We pray for you guys and have loved seeing the mighty work of God here for ourselves today. God bless – continue being faithful to Him. All praise be to God.
